Man cut free from collision

Dartford firefighters rescued a driver trapped in his car early this morning (Weds) following a collision in Watling Street.

The man, who has not been indentified, had to be cut free following a two-car collision at 2.20am.

Red Watch firefighters used hydraulic equipment to free the driver, whose injuries are not believed to be serious. He was taken to Darent Valley Hospital by ambulance.
