A woman was injured in a three vehicle crash on the M25.
Essex Police were called to junction 30 for Lakeside at 6.25pm and closed the Dartford Tunnel while they dealt with the incident.
A lorry, Mercedes Benz and Vauxhall Movano were all involved.
The driver of the Mercedes, a woman in her 20s, suffered injuries that are not believed to be serious.
No arrests have been made.
The closure left drivers in four miles of traffic. The tunnel was partially reopened at 8:30pm with vehicles let through in sections controlled by traffic lights.
The road was fully reopened shortly after 9pm.
