ENTRIES are still coming in for the Deal Castle Five-Mile Run taking place on Sunday, November 7.

The race is being organised by members of Deal Tri Club and this year they are using Deal castle as the race headquarters with the support of English Heritage.

Club chairman Gary Holmes says he is looking forward to using the new base to welcome runners from all over the county.

The main race is scheduled to begin at 11am with a junior 1,000 metre race taking place at 10.15am. Both races are being sponsored by Vista Leisure which operates Deal Tides and Dover Sports Centres.

Favourites to win the senior event, Mike Coleman and Neil Renault, have already signed up for the senior race. Around 450 runners are expected to take part.

Entry forms and updates are available from Deal tri's website www.dealtri.co.uk
