Ebbsfleet United sign Antigua & Barbuda international defender Marvin McCoy

Ebbsfleet have signed Antigua & Barbuda international Marvin McCoy.

The 27-year-old right-back played alongside Fleet's new vice-captain Dave Winfield at York City before leaving Bootham Crescent in January.

McCoy spent time with Arsenal and Watford as a youngster before making a name for himself in the non-league game at Wealdstone.

In 2010 he signed for Wycombe where his team-mates included Winfield and last season's Ebbsfleet player-of-the-year, Stuart Lewis.

McCoy moved north to York in summer 2014 and racked up 50 appearances.

His arrival at Stonebridge Road means competition for Matt Fish, who was first-choice right-back for the majority of last season.

Ebbsfleet visit Hungerford in National League South on Saturday.
