Field played a Chartham side doing well in the league but showed them the difference in class between Division 1 and the Premier with a 3-1 win in the Faversham Charity Cup (Senior section).

John Goodwin, Brad Maguire and Adam Oxberry got the goals for Field with Lowell Chrisford replying.

Tankerton also faced Premier opposition in Lockley Bower who were always in control despite a red card for Kenny Saunders in the dying moments.

The final score of 2-1 failed to reflect their dominance. Nick Green and James Wake got the goals for Lockley, Joe Walker scored Royals’ consolation.
