A lorry driver has gone missing after his lorry jackknifed in Sittingbourne.

It happened at 10.15pm yesterday at the Key Street roundabout.

The driver was treated by paramedics at the scene for a minor head injury but had disappeared by the time police arrived.

Officers are currently making inquiries to try and find him.

The A2 Keycol hill and A249 were both shut until around 9am. Chestnut street is still closed as the road needs re-surfacing after a fuel spill.
