ABOUT 25 firefighters tackled an early morning blaze which ripped through a warehouse,

A 50-metre cordon was set around the blaze site in Waldo Road, Bromley, because a propane gas cylinder was inside the building.

Nobody had to be evacuated.

Firefighters from Bromley, Beckenham and Downham attended the blaze which began at about 2.45am on Tuesday.

A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said they cooled the cylinder down before removing it. He added: "Propane isn’t the most dangerous gas."

The fire was under control by 6.20am. The cause is being investigated.
