Gillingham will meet League 2 side Accrington Stanley in the third round of the FA Cup.

Accrington won Tuesday night’s replay at Barnet 1-0 to set up the clash, which is scheduled for Saturday, January 2.

The Gills have yet to win away this season but will fancy their chances against a team sitting 12th in the division below.

Gillingham enjoyed a 2-0 win on their last visit to Accrington, in March this year, with Simeon Jackson and Dennis Oli scoring the goals.

Both teams will be hoping for a more lucrative clash in the fourth round and the £67,500 prize money for the winners of the tie.
