Grime buster gets to grips with graffiti

A community clean-up for Strood and the Peninsula saw hundreds of ‘tags’ being removed and litter cleared.

The week-long effort to claim back recreation areas involved neighbourhood officers working in partnership with Medway Council to pick up littler and blitz graffiti from hotspot areas.

The team visited a number of sites across Cliffe Woods, Wainscott, Upnor and Allhallows where they used the‘grime buster’ water jet to remove hundreds of tags.
