Private jet in emergency landing at Manston

A private jet carrying two people has been forced to make an emergency landing in Kent.

The light aircraft was diverted to Manston airport because of problems with its landing gear.

Six fire engines, Kent police and the South East Coast ambulance service were all called to the scene after reports the plane was in trouble.

It landed safely at around 3.50 pm.
