Suspects sought after robbery report

POLICE are appealing for information after a teenage boy told them he was robbed of his wallet and phone.

The 16-year-old reported to officers that he was approached by a gang of six men in Canterbury Street, Gillingham.

One of the group is said to have asked the boy for the time after which he is alleged to have pushed him and stolen his mobile phone. Another man then searched his pockets and took his wallet.

The teenager was unhurt in the incident at around 9.50pm on Thursday.

One of the suspects is described as being white, aged around 18, around 6ft 3in, medium build with short hair. He wore a grey hooded jacket.

Another is described as being white, also 18, around 6ft and medium build. He also had short hair and wore a white jacket.

Det Con Les Bingham said: "I would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this robbery or have any information that will help us with our inquiries."
