Three injured in pile-up

THREE people were taken to hospital after a pile-up involving three cars in Southsea Avenue, Minster, near Sheerness.

Police say they suffered various head, back and neck injuries, none of which are thought to be life-threatening.

A recovery crew attended the scene to remove the damaged vehicles and to clear a large spill of fuel from the road.

The incident happened at about on Sunday. The road was reopened by around 3.25pm.
