CHARLTON suffered further humiliation with Saturday's FA Cup eclipse by League 1 Nottingham Forest.

Having lost to League 2 Wycombe in the Carling Cup quarter-finals in December, the Addicks were expected to make amends against Forest.

Instead, they were stunned by two Forest first half goals. Junior Agogo scored the first in the 27th minute and the unmarked Grant Holt headed the second in from Nicky Southall's free-kick.

Charlton dominated the second half without ever troubling Forest goalkeeper Paul Smith.

Charlton: Myhre, Kishishev (Sam 83), El Karkouri, Fortune, Traore, Rommedahl (Thomas 67), Faye (Diawara 27), Holland, Ambrose, M Bent, Hasselbaink.
Randolph, Hughes.
Attendance: 19,017.
