Keeper crisis at Priestfield

JASON BROWN: limped off against Preston

GILLINGHAM are facing a goalkeeper crisis after Jason Brown was ruled out for a month with a thigh injury.

Brown limped off in the defeat against Preston and a scan revealed the damage was worse than first feared.

With Vince Bartram out with a broken wrist, Bertrand Bossu, who replaced Brown on Saturday, should make his first start as Gills take on Nottingham Forest and former Priestfield striker Marlon King.

Manager Andy Hessenthaler is considering bringing in a loan keeper for extra cover for the busy festive period.
