INVICTA Dymanos coach Kevin Parrish says a new rule imposing an age limit of 25 on the English National Ice Hockey League could spell the end for the club.

The league's governing body, the English Ice Hockey Association has announced its desire to make the ENIHL an under-25s league.

Teams can ice up to five players over the age limit next season but must have no over-25s by 2012.

Parrish said: "The fear is it's going to kill ice hockey. You need experienced players to help the younger ones develop."

Fans have been urged to sign an online petition against the changes. Click here to sign >>>
