Striker Sigere signs for Margate

FORMER Rushden striker Jean-Michel Sigere has completed a move today from Stevenage Borough to Margate for an undisclosed fee. Originally from Martinique, the player began his career with Borduex before signing for Rushden in March 2000 where he scored 11 goals in 15 starts, moving to Stevenage in October 2001.

Margate manager Chris Kinnear said: "He is a strong and skillful striker capable of scoring a lot of goals. When Leon Braithwaite is fit and with Phil Collins playing well this will give us a potent threesome at the Club".

Kinnear has also taken Ghanian Midfielder Abdul Senena on trial from Belgium 1st Division side Royal Antwerp.
