Betty's a class act

It was back to school for ex pupil Betty Wilkinson this week - but fortunately no spelling tests.

The 92-year-old former St Paul's Infants pupil visited the school in Hilary Road, Maidstone and told pupils how she used to get a smack for being rubbish at spelling.

To mark the occasion pupils dressed in 1920s clothing and heard how Betty joined in 1926 - the year the Queen was born.
