The River Medway between Tovil and Farleigh Lock is currently unnavigable by larger craft after a tree came down in Sunday's high winds.
The tree is stretching three-quarters the way across from the Tovil side of the river towards the Barming bank, leaving only just enough room for canoes or rowing boats.
The Environmental Agency has been notified and will be clearing the obstruction soon.
