Fundraisers rowed the English Channel in under five hours on Sunday to raise much-needed cash for Canterbury Cathedral and Kent-based cancer charity Odyssey.

The team of 12 was made up of members of the church and local business representatives.

They were due to row on Saturday but bad weather conditions meant they had to postpone the attempt.

kmfm's Susan Hilder caught up with Canterbury Cathedral's canon treasurer Ed Condrey at the end of the crossing.
