A FULLY guaranteed rental scheme has started where landlords are paid their first six months’ rent in advance.

The Paragon Advance Rental Income Scheme is run by Paragon Advance, a credit risk management company which also deals in tenant referencing.

Managing director, Bryn Cole, says the scheme is particularly attractive for new landlords with only one or two properties who may be vulnerable because their rents are crucial.

“We pay six months’ rent up front, so whatever happens with the tenant, the landlord has his or her rent,” he said.

The scheme is renewable every six months and includes legal costs should the tenant have to be evicted.
