Man attacked in town centre

A man needed stitches to his face following an attack in Sittingbourne.

The 31-year-old victim, who comes from Faversham, suffered cuts and grazes during the assault which happened in Does Alley, between Sittingbourne High Street and St Michael’s Road, between 5pm and 7.45pm on Friday, July 6.

The suspect is a white man, aged 30 to 35, 5ft 8in, with black hair and wearing a white top and black jeans.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to speak to a group of seven people, including one in a wheelchair, who were in the area at the time of the assault.
