Emergency services called to Boundary Road in Ramsgate after child hit by vehicle

A child suffered an ankle injury after being hit by a car on a main road.

There were reports of delays in Boundary Road, Ramsgate, following the incident this morning.

Police and ambulance crews attended the scene following reports the child was hit by a vehicle at 8.35am.

The child was assessed and treated before being taken to hospital.

Police confirmed they sustained an ankle injury.
