Maidstone: Allington Castle opens its gates for two open-air shows by the Changeling Theatre

Historic Allington Castle in Maidstone is rarely open to the public but is opening its doors for an exclusive open-air theatre performance this weekend.

Two performances will be staged in one day on Saturday, August 13, when the Changeling Theatre’s summer tour brings William Shakespeare’s All’s Well That Ends Well and Oliver Goldsmith’s She Stoops to Conquer to the castle grounds.

Just 100 tickets are available for each performance.

All proceeds will go to the Robin Corbett Award, a charity which works with prisoners and ex-offenders.

The tour runs until Sunday, August 21, when it returns to its starting point at Boughton Monchelsea Place in Maidstone.
